Call or Stop in to Explore Your Home Delivery Options
Tim Wallace started his business with local delivery of topsoil, sand and gravel to landscape customers back in 1984. Today, local delivery remains a cornerstone of our customer service. Our delivery zones include most all of the greater Chicagoland area as well as communities south of I-80. Call, stop by or Contact Us to find out more.
Note: Most shrubs and perennials can be “take-with” and we will gladly assist in the loading of your purchase. When that is not practical, as with large trees or multiple shrubs, a home delivery option can be arranged. There is a charge for home delivery and / or planting which varies according to the original purchase price of your plant(s) and travel distance from the nursery.
If we are both delivering and planting, there is a law requiring a J.U.L.I.E. assessment before digging. Don’t worry, we take care of this for you and it must be done on every new dig. The timeframe for most J.U.L.I.E. assessments and permissions to proceed is 3 business days. For customers that have arranged for nursery product delivery only, the requirement for J.U.L.I.E. contact (if necessary) is the responsibility of the home-owner.
The Tree Planting Process

Step 1: Choose a tree.
Once your tree purchase is completed we will mark your tree to insure that the one you selected is delivered to you. You will also receive a sign to clearly mark the plant site.

Step 2: We will contact JULIE for you.
JULIE will mark the under-ground utilities in and around your planting area insuring a safe and timely planting.

Step 3: Schedule your planting date.
JULIE markings can take 48 -72 hours or longer. Once we have confirmation of their “OK to Proceed” date and time, we will call you to schedule your planting.

Step 4: We deliver and plant your tree.
Careful attention is paid to planting your tree from start to finish, including edging the perimeter, watering the tree and applying mulch.

Step 5: Enjoy your new tree!
We clean up after ourselves and ensure that your planting site looks great.
